Harlequin Watford '26 Pride Month bunting features original artistic interpretations of our strapline 'a place without prejudice'. Each artwork is set proudly against one of the 13 colours of the Progress Flag and together represent the joy and creativity of our home town!

About the event
This June, Proud Watford's Pride Month bunting brings something genuinely beautiful to Watford — and it belongs to all of us.
A Place Without Prejudice: Artworks 2026 features thirteen original works by Watford artists, each offering their own interpretation of what it means to live, love, and belong in a place truly without prejudice. Set proudly against each of the thirteen colours of the Progress Flag, the artworks span personal reflection and community celebration — from Martin's meditation on the courage it takes to change one's own mind, to Chantelle's winged wheelchair honouring intersectional inclusivity; from Will's tribute to the brave LGBTQ+ activists of the 1970s, to Rio and Kiri's rallying call to love out loud.
Together they tell a story that is bigger than any single voice — and that's exactly the point.
